We have been very busy this week learning subtraction within 10 and 20. We have been doing lots of practise to make sure we know the answers instantly. Keep practising this at home too and before you know it, you’ll know all your subtraction facts within 10 and 20.
We did a cooperative learning Health and Wellbeing lesson where we were each given a role card (reporter, scribe, resource manager etc) and were put into groups. Our job was to discuss ‘what would you do?’ based on different scenarios in the playground. We had lots of discussion around good and poor choices in the playground and school and how to be ready, respectful and safe. Great work P2/3!
We had a lovely performance from our reading group the Butterflies! Their reading book this week was “Worm Looks for Lunch”. This was a play and each child chose a character from the book to perform their speaking and acting part. Mrs Snedden popped in to watch the performance. It was excellent with peer feedback saying it was funny and good expression in reading!! Well done!
